Chronischer Tinnitus kann erheblich beeinträchtigende Auswirkungen auf Betroffene und ihr soziales Umfeld haben. Schlafstörungen, Angst, Depression bis hin zu Suizidalität, sozialer Rückzug, Störungen des Familienlebens und Verlust der Arbeitsfähigkeit können die Folgen sein.
